Description

I’ve come to learn that “God does not waste experiences.” Experiences that we face in life serve a purpose. Yes, when it happens, you may not understand it, but later, in retrospect, you will. There are so many situations that we get faced with in life. Some of these situations can be completely life-transforming, either for bad or good. Whatever the case may be, these circumstances leave a mark that is felt and lives on with us, which then innately controls us consciously and unconsciously in our everyday lives. This tends to inhibit us from maximizing our potential and living our dreams, or it fuels us to do the opposite. These very situations bring us to a point where one has to take certain decisions pertaining to her life; decisions that will also cause a major paradigm shift in one’s life.

These are the decisions that demand one to look into the inner part of who she is, her essence and authentic self with sincerity, and then make such a decision. The reason being that sometimes we get busy gathering information, looking at the contemporary temporal things that are here now but may not be there tomorrow, hence not projecting into the future in a positive, objective, informed, and intelligent way. And also, because we’d be busy focusing on what people will say if we make a decision that they didn’t expect of us or the decision that doesn’t align with what has always been done; ‘what will the community say if I say or take a particular decision?’ This way of thinking has made many people do and say things they honestly didn’t want to say or do, but the fear of what people would say got hold of them and made them deter from the cry of their heart—the thing they really wanted. On the same note, most times we give the fear of the unknown a good grip on us, making us suffer more in our imagination than in real life.
